Shirley Isgar and David Alford are the proud owners of the Don Gaspar Inn. Shirley originally owned the Main House and added to it over the years. They remain in spirit where ever you look from the Gardens to the Interior Decor. With a combined talent for hospitality, gardening, culinary delights, and innkeeping - the two of them have been operating bed and breakfasts for over 26 years! The Alford Family offer 3 beautiful Inns to their guests - warmly known as "The Inns of the Southwest". Our Sister Inns, Blue Lake Ranch - in Durango, Colorado, and Casa Blanca - in Farmington, NM, bring even more wonderful opportunities to enchant our guests as they travel thru the Southwest!

Innkeeper Peter:
Joining the Don Gaspar in January of 2011, Peter has realized his lifelong dream of Living in Northern New Mexico. As a former B&B owner and a corporate refugee , Peter brings skill sets to the Inn that compliment the strong team already in place here. He greatly enjoys personal interactions with our visitors and considers client satisfaction to be his primary role. Concierge, gardener, handyman, breakfast server and paying bills round out his duties at the Don Gaspar Inn. In his spare time he enjoys developing his land in Chama and being outdoors under the wonderful New Mexican sky.

Innkeeper Ana
Well, what can we say!!?? One of the original "tres amigas" as they say, Ana has been at the Don Gaspar for many years and has served in almost all positions. Her hospitality/culinary talents are best utilized as our morning innkeeper, so that is where you will find her! Ana delights the guests with her interesting inside Santa Fe knowledge and an ample dose of personal charm! Her talents go beyond the great breakfasts she serves to concierge and personal trip advisor to all! If you linger awhile, you will hear tales from what we fondly refer to as "Ana's World". She is our own personal Santa Fe original! |

Innkeeper Jill
Jill Joined us in October as an innkeeper specializing in marketing - combining warm hospitality and personal attention to guests with her love of everything entrepreneurial. She lives in the neighborhood and has been enchanted , for years by the Don Gaspar Inn and its well-kept grounds and distinctive charm. A transplant from the Texas Hill Country, she has raised two children in Santa Fe and lived in New Mexico for 27 years. She and her twenty-one year old daughter Eliza own and operate a small jewelry and gift business, and all of their creations are made from recycled materials - from bicycle parts to designer fabric scraps. Jill especially enjoys helping guests plan their stays and adventures and then hearing all about them the next day at breakfast - sharing in the excitement!
